NCHMCT will be conducting National Level Hotel Management Entrance Examination NCHMT JEE 2015 (notification) for admission to B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and nine other structured courses in Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) (21 Central IHM, 16 State Government IHM and 14 Private IHM) affiliated with NCHMCT.
Interested candidates can submit their NCHMCT JEE 2015 Application Online at NCHMCT official website www.nchm.nic.in.
The submission of online applications has already started from December 10, 2014. The last date to apply online is April 06, 2015.
Admit Cards for the NCHMCT JEE 2015 will be available from April 18, 2015 (Saturday) 2:00 pm onwards.
The NCHMCT JEE Written Examination will be conducted on April 25, 2015 (Saturday) from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
NCHMCT JEE Result will be available on NCHMCT website in the 2nd week of May 2015. Counselling of the qualified candidates will be conducted in the 1st week of June 2015.
To be eligible for NCHMCT JEE 2015, Candidate must have cleared class 12 (10+2 system) of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Candidates currently appearing in the class 12 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2015 on provisional basis.
Upper age limit for candidates of General and OBC category is 22 years as on 01.07.2015. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1993 are eligible. Upper age limit in case of SC/ST candidates is 25 years as on 01.07.2015. SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1990 are eligible. Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.
NCHMCT JEE 2015 Question Paper will be Bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for English Language).
Paper will have 5 sections (Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude 30 marks, Reasoning and Logical Deduction 30 marks, General Knowledge & Current Affairs 30 marks, English Language 60marks, Aptitude for Service Sector 50 marks) carrying total of 200 marks. The duration of exam will be of 3 hours. For any wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in All India (Written Test) JEE-examination. Allotment of Institute shall strictly be in order of merit & rank. No group discussions or personal interviews are involved in this admission process.
NCHMCT academic session for B.Sc program will commence from July 20, 2015.
